Raleigh, North Carolina, February 20, 2017 – Sigmon Construction broke ground on the Mangum Flats condominium project in Durham, North Carolina on Monday, February 13. Mangum Flats is a 22 unit, ground-up, new construction project located in downtown Durham at 515 N Mangum St. The approximately 40,000 sq. ft. building will feature Nichiha engineered exterior rain screen cladding, private balcony or courtyard with every residence and a finished roof deck with exceptional skyline views.
Mangum Flats is a forward looking project that will feature quartz tops with under mount stainless steel sinks in all kitchens and baths. Residents will also enjoy natural gas cooking, modern wood cabinets, tile kitchen backsplash, walk-in showers with frameless glass enclosures and large casement and picture windows. Modern wood base trims will be constructed throughout, as well as modern door casings and window sills.
Technology, comfort and safety will be an integral part of Mangum Flats. Condos will feature gigabit internet and television, Nest thermostats, LED lighting, engineered sound isolation system between every condo, and video intercom and access control.
